Charity fundraising by the Big Cogs

The Big Cogs are looking to raise funds for four charities in completing the challenge.

The riders are fully self-funding the trip so 100% of all donations will go to the charities which can be individually selected by the donors via the links on the home page:

YORKSHIRE AIR AMBULANCE : An exceptional local service that relies on donations to function and is particularly close to our hears as one of the group, Paul Aspinall, was air-lifted to hospital following a cycling accident in 2019 that resulted in a serious head injury. This is also a selected charity of Rob’s employer Asda.

FORGET ME NOT CHILDREN’S HOSPICE : A local Huddersfield hospice that delivers outstanding care to children with life shortening conditions.

DIABETES UK : A charity working tirelessly to combat this challenging and relatively common condition. This charity is particularly close to one of our riders, Jonny, and sponsor, RRG Group, who sadly lost a colleague to this illness.

BRITISH RED CROSS UKRAINE CRISIS APPEAL : Unfortunately, this charity needs little introduction given the ongoing humanitarian challenges being faced by so many Ukrainians in their homeland.
