Sat April 30th – A Slog to Knutsford (~115 miles & 8,500 feet of ascent)
A super route over to the other side of the Pennines saw us again take on the Hope Valley.
With lots of climbing in the first half before descending into the flatlands of the Cheshire plain, we enjoyed a well-earned lunch by the canal before reaching Knutsford and our turn for home.
Two punctures saw us home late reinforcing the challenge of mechanicals on the long daily rides we’re undertaking in France.
The final climb back up Greenfields and into Holmfirth whilst grueling but well achieved by all participants.
